Community Involvement - Giving Back

AudetteMedia strives to be a good citizen. We benefit greatly from living and working in Central Oregon and we try to give a little back now and then. Two of our Core Values involve being part of the solution as opposed to part of the problem: Do Well By Doing Good and Give, Then Take.

We have recently been able to offer some support to NeighborImpact here in Central Oregon.

Founded in 1985, NeighborImpact is a private nonprofit organization established to serve and speak out for economically disadvantaged people in Central Oregon. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by helping remove the barriers that prevent people from achieving economic self-sufficiency.

As is the case in many parts of the U.S., homelessness is increasing here in Central Oregon. At the present time over 40% of the homeless population here are under 18 years of age and only one in three homeless individuals are able to find shelter. NeighborImpact is working to make a difference and AudetteMedia is pleased to help in a small way with a recent donation of networking computer equipment.
